I have never flown on an AA 757 in F where the seats looked like that.
I have flown many times in the old F seats that didn't have headrests, I assume the ones that LTN Phobia described as slabs, but they did not look like that, and personally I found them very roomy and very comfortable.
I was sad when they were all refitted with the new style seats.
