Wow! A Full Sized Chicken Breast!

Awright gang, here's an update on a February meal that actually includes a photo of the food. That's right - an actual photo! Seatmate and the flight attendant definitely wrote me off as being a real weirdo for photographing my meal but from where I sit (usually in a First Class seat) these descriptions are best served with a picture, so I just sucked it up and took not one but five different shots of the fabulous chicken breast. What you're getting is the very best of those shots.

Date of flight: February 3rd, 2014
Route flown: Fairbanks to Seattle
Class of service: First
Length of flight: 3 hours
Meal served: Dinner
Description: Chicken breast topped with gravy and served with polenta and Swiss chard
Comment: Two things really stood out about this meal: First, the chicken breast was huge by Alaska Airlines standards. Has Alaska changed or was this an accident by the caterer? Second, the breast was actually juicy and flavorful. It ranks right up there with some of the best chicken I've ever been served aloft and certainly the best I've ever been served on Alaska. Well done, AS!
