On today’s flight, I caught the Purser removing a sort of transparent Tupperware box from his hand luggage placed in the overhead compartment above the last row of Business Class. Intrigued, I wanted to know what he wanted to do with it in the Business Class Galley. A few minutes later, he was back, placing the box filled with Business Class food in his hand luggage!
While I understand the food would have probably been thrown away… I found this very unprofessional and an all time low for MAS ! Next to that I had already requested 3 times to get a soda water and they kept forgetting...
Purely anecdotal, but that "may" explain why when I woke up after the J meal service on my PVG-KUL flight and, hungry, asked if there was any J meal left over, and I was only offered crackers, packed nuts and cakes which form the dessert in Y! Only when I pressed the purser that another Y meal was brought to me in its tin foil-wrapped state... at least SQ would have replated it before serving. MH really is very rough and tumble when it comes to service.
