We flew SFO>LHR on 19th Sept 2013 and the cabin was OF. At the time obviously no compensation was offered by BA as this scheme hadn't been implemented yet. It appears to have started a matter of weeks later so I was wondering if it's worth emailing the EC and highlighting this and asking if we would be entitled to the compensation?

Yes, I'm obviously chancing my arm here but it's not an insignificant number of Avios.
