I had a few hours to kill in Kota Kinabalu airport during a transfer, so I went to the Starbucks for a coffee and WiFi. I noticed that there was Valencia syrup there unlike every place that I've seen in North America. I've also been to McDonalds in Kuala Lumpur a couple times, just for the ice cream to help beat the heat (mango sundaes!)
