Good responses so far. I wonder what aspect of an econ class meal (or any airline meal for that matter) made it memorable for you. Obviously I'm assuming its the taste, but anything else? The food portion? The options available (i.e. beyond the usual pasta)? The addition of appetizer and desert (as well as the kind of appetizer and deserts?)? The bread?

Speaking of which, in addition to best general econ class food, what was the most memorable econ class meal you ever had? Which airline and to where and when?
