It is the same terminal; only a partition separates domestic and international sides. After picking up bags and clearing customs, do not leave the terminal building. Ask one of the security guys where domestic entrance is. Once inside, find Air India counter.

As always in Indian airports, you will require an ID to enter as well as a printout of your itinerary which shows pax name(s), flight and date.
