Some random data points...

My wife and I are both BofA card holders, and were approved for the Barclays card around the start of the year (interestingly, we didn't have any link problems, we went straight from HA website).

Our 50% off companion awards showed online about 2 days after getting approved.

We each made our first purchase for 2 tickets to Kauai, and given the (over) $1K in spend, the 35k bonus miles showed up on the Barclays site within days. HOWEVER, we did not receive 2X miles for the purchase, even though it was direct from the HA website. I patiently waited for my first statement in case something changed, which it didn't.

I had to call Barclays, and explain the error. The CR apologized and said "its so obvious" that it was an HA purchase, and that they would fix it. I got a case # and was told to wait 6-8 weeks (not that I need the miles immediately, but really??).

Just thought I would share (as they made the error on both of our accounts), so others can be on the look out...
