Squeezing more than 3 hours out of these 737-900s (more than 2 hours on a regional jet---ugh) makes it feel like UA is being more and more petty...

The plane was pretty empty, esp in E+, i even considered taking the 8:11 that was also a 737-900 but with directv but reconsidered at the last minute.
To say a 2.5 hour delay was even a consideration says a lot for that DirecTV!
