I also use this system. My wheeled bag is a TravelPro walkabout light rolling tote, but if I had it to do over again, I would use the B&R 116 for its flat top. My non-wheeled bag is an eBags TLS Motherload Weekender Jr.. I routinely carry both on regional jets, even when the GA is being aggressive about gate checking. This also has the advantage of letting me put the heavy electronics in the roller that rolls under the seat. The backpack is light enough to go easily into the overhead.
