This wasn't the case in my recent experience. I was flying SYD-ICN-JFK with an overnight in JFK.

While I could check in and confirm my SYD-ICN leg, I couldn't do that for the ICN-JFK leg.

Mind you, this was with the previous system, so the new system OZ implemented may allow online check-in all the way through.



Also, on your previous comment nme7, I was saying that only the pair of aisle seats (non-window) were available to the OP, because the OP was saying that NONE of the window seats were free.
