Is this new and if so is it simply two seats without an armrest in between?!

Is it actually really aimed at more rotund passenger than mother with child?

Whilst it was on the Seat Map Key, no 'Twin' seats were available in the old style 777 Y cabin in which I have a seat.
Nothing new! 55A and C were our favourite BA 747 seats in the 1970s.
