I think the OP is talking about the pairs of seats in the middle of the cabin, not the ones along either edge.
With those window smartium seats, I prefer the one closest to the window as it creates a semi-private enclosure. And as for the temperature, generally with OZ, anything that can lower the cabin temperature, which is usually set quite high, is fine by me!
