Thanks for posting about this. I already had this card from a conversion I did earlier from a Delta Amex with an annual fee. They said I had to convert to a different product (same card, but just internally tracked differently at Amex) to get the brand new 3% CB feature. So I did that over the phone. Same card number, same billing, nothing changes, just they send a new card. Call back after 24 hours to set the category.
A bit annoying but worth it to have 3% cash back on restaurants throughout the year. =)
