I am still researching the best carryon. I have a bad back and cannot carry any heavy luggage (had multiple back surgeries). I see a lot of good comments on un-wheeled carry on like rexoxx, tom bihn, etc. So, it got me thinking whether there would be any advantage to buying one of those PLUS a luggage cart. Weight wise, both would be the same weight as a solid carry on with wheels, so I don't see the advantage, but thought I would ask nonetheless.

I also found that I prefer carrying a backpack (only for a few minutes, that is) to carrying a luggage with a shoulder strap, as I have a narrow and weak shoulder.
