To UnderEst - thanks for the photo. A photo of the gas pump itself showing the 3 different types of fuel would be really helpful if you can post one. My husband picked the cheapest fuel possible because that's what we always do for a rental car. The only fuel we put into the vehicle was the one time when we put in $10 worth of fuel on our way to San Juan. The car was acting up at least 25-30 minutes before we put in the fuel and continued to have the same problems until we reached the rental car place by the highway which we happened to see as we were driving along, at which time we parked in the lot and turned off the ignition. My husband tried to start the car again to show the agent what the problem was, but the car would not start at that time.
