McNamara is one of the nicest terminals in the US IMO. Never been in the other one, but it certainly doesn't look as nice. Not to mention connections to DL would be very tough and time consuming. I wonder who decides where they go?
If I had to guess, I would think that AS will end up at the North Terminal as the McNamara terminal is strictly DL or their partner airlines. Since the love affair is over I doubt they'll be up for sharing gate space anytime soon.
