Unfortunately, it's actually named Vanilla Air. Someone neglected to discover that describing something as vanilla is not particularly a term of endearment. And that there's no 'v' sound in the Japanese language, so it comes out as 'Banilla Air'.

And while we're on it, I have mileage credit in my AE account from 'Singaport Airlines'.
