So, I think you've hit a bigger question which is, what is the value of a mileage run in this new era of MQDs. If it's solely about picking up miles quickly then a lengthy flight run may be worth it but those miles aren't worth much if the MQDs are too low to help you build status, unless you need the miles for redemption to somewhere you want to go. Even in that case, probably cheaper to buy the miles or the route you want rather than spend money on a MR somewhere. If it's just for the adventure of a MR, go for it. Otherwise, I'd be curious what you're hoping to achieve through a MR these days.
