Due to people with peanut allergies, Delta no longer serves peanuts anywhere on board and even makes a comment on delta.com that they may not be able to keep other passengers from even bringing peanuts on board. Alas, peanuts are my favorite snack (Planter's still has a 3 1/2 pound can for sale - yeah!!).
More OT: ten hours isn't that long (I live in Korea and travel to the East Coast at least five times a year). Next week, I get to fly at the back of the bus 14 hours from ICN to DTW (government fare = no upgrades) before onward travel, totaling about 24 hours with layover from home to hotel.
