In recent years TAP has added a few new and quite long routes into Africa and Eastern Europe using A319/A320 with interiors that suits shorter IntraEurope routes. Is there any plan to implement a real Business Class product in some of the planes? Comparing to the competitors (IB, AF,BA,OS) that also use smaller planes on some African and Eastern Europe routes, TP offers a very below standard inflight seat product. Seeing that TMS is now losing the A310, it’s just being another route offering inferior Business Class comfort.
By the way Air Luxor used to fly their A330-300 to TMS, Air STP (op by EAA) fly with the B767-300ER! So I wonder why TP is not willing to send their A330-200? Further STP Airways offers a proper Business Class on their flight from LIS-TMS, even on the B757-200 or B737-800 they used to operate on that route.
