Fast track is +1, Not sure about boarding officially but haven't had a problem with +1 in the past. If it makes you feel better I don't think fast track security is actually any faster half the time.

(Maybe someone wasn't reading their ipad with the message that day - saw CC approach someone on board the other day and say "I have a message from the executive club to thank you for your loyalty to BA", which may have been a bit too literal)
There is an active campaign to "thank" passengers who are blue or bronze who have flown a few segments recently with BA. I never got a thanks for reaching bronze or silver either
