My initial thoughts are that you for Fujian province, allot 7-8 days (can break it down for you later), Qingdao up to 3 days, Shenzhen only enough time for transportation connections and whatever shopping you want to do (it really isn't a tourist city).
I actually like Shenzhen quite a bit. Sure there are no famous temples, but there's no other city like it in the world as far as I know (complete transformation from small fishing village to megatropolis in less than 30 years, a microcosm for China as a whole in many ways). Some of the beaches in Shenzhen (which you pass by on the way to Xiamen, though I'm not sure if there are train stations nearby) are also quite good.
