As a general rule, any Aer Lingus Regional flights flown by Aer Arran have the EI prefix followed by a 4 digit number.

These are ATR aircraft with smaller overhead bins than Airbus jets, hence the smaller carry on limit.

EI 529 will most likely be an A320, and the larger limit will apply on this flight.
