I'll own up to it, but 100% it was just water.

I was on the inbound flight yesterday DFW-PHL, and I moved after takeoff to the window seat. I accidentally ended up knocking over a glass of water into the aisle seat. I did make an attempt to dry the seat, but apparently the cushion absorbed more than I thought. Where are the all leather Eisenhower seats when you need them?

I don't know about the smell, but if the cushion absorbed that much with a glass that was half full I shudder to think what else has happened in the last 30 years.
