And there are plenty of hotels around the world where staff seem to outnumber guests, and nothing (including cleaning your room) is too much trouble, whenever you ask. Yes, you pay a premium, but if we are discussing the luxury market, surely that is already premium priced? The thought of hotels not having staff around because they have to leave to catch buses does not tally with the premium that guests pay to ensure good service. I guess perhaps it comes down to the definition of 'luxury' in this instance?
