It's been a while since I've taken receipt of lost luggage and that was in the US. I remember signing for the bag for the driver's records, but I don't remember getting any copy of the delivery slip/receipt.

Maybe a reminder/request to the hotel staff would help in the future? I know we didn't keep a log of the delivery. Maybe we should have. It's not something that I would think of doing.
