assuming no oneworld emerald status, your lounge access would be as follows:

  • ORD (F lounge if available)
  • NRT - F lounge (connecting long haul F to short haul J entitles F lounge, provided no stopover)
  • PEK - F lounge if available - but i think CX is joint F/J there?
  • HKG - J lounge only. You are not connecting long haul F, so only outbound class of service will apply (but no harm in trying for F, but depends where your flight is departing from)
Sorry, I should have been more clear. This is an award ticket going ORD-SIN. Unfortunately, there aren't any NRT-SIN seats available. There aren't even any NRT-HKG-SIN seats. The best I could do was NRT-TPE-HKG-SIN, but that gave me a 45 minute connection at NRT which I think is too tight.

Instead, I'm going NRT-PEK (11h connection/overnight) then PEK-HKG-SIN the next morning on KA/CX. KA is available in F but the CX leg is not. Since I'm arriving in F and coming from a long-haul F flight I'm hoping I'll get into the F lounge in HKG for the 5-hour layover.

Complicated, I know. That's why I've come to the experts!
