At least at DXB I would much rather spend those hours in the F lounge than have all the hassle of immigration queues and then a ride to the hotel, followed by getting back and going through security etc.

If that was an offer for a room at the airport transit hotel that would probably change the decision entirely. Pity they don't have decent sleeping rooms in the lounge.
