Driver's license reciprocity

All Canadian driver's licenses can automatically transfer to a Japanese driver's license without driver's test. All driver's experience can be transferred.

All one needs to do is have the driver's license translated by an authorized translator.

I did this a couple of years ago, transferring my BC driver's license to a Japanese one.

While in Japan, I got my motorcycle license. (125cc automatic transmission)

Now that my Canadian driver's license is going to expire, I am hoping to instead of renewing my BC driver's license transfer my Japanese driver's license to a new Canadian license.

Is this possible? If this affects my "safe driver's" discount in BC, then I don't want to do it.

Or is it possible to renew my BCDL and just add my Japanese motorcycle license to it?
