Of course, as with all tourist traps, you can avoid getting fooled if you're a smart traveler. But that doesn't mean it isn't one. Overcrowding in peak months, english breakfast restaurants dotted all over the island; I am saying that Santorini is not the distant greek island town that everyone thinks it is. Many have been a bit disappointed but as I've also said before, it is one of the most beautiful islands in Greece.

You can occupy yourself for days in Santorini but personally I wouldn't. That's my opinion.
