And I'm the opposite. I prefer getting the folios under the door. I'm a light sleeper & it doesn't bother me. I just think (if I hear it) folio, still have a couple more hours of sleep & go back to sleep. I never look at the clock if I'm woken at night, regardless of the reason. I check the folio for accuracy while I brush my teeth. If there's a problem I deal w/ it at the front desk. If not, then I call the FD & tell them it's fine/I'm checking out.

For those who say employers are going to e-folios for expense reports, that may be true in larger corps but it certainly isn't true with a lot of mid & smaller size ones, nor is it true for those who are self-employed & who have to submit receipts to clients.

The other reason for a paper folio is there have been some reports (dif chains) on FT that if you do a prepaid rate & then don't have any other charges, that for some reason the stays/nights/points don't post & then you have to spend time w/ hotel chain program cust service & hotel getting it credited. Having a paper folio helps with that.
