hutchy93, and funnily enough I am at the moment on Hainan Island, albeit the other end to Sanya. It is great to see you here, may we see plenty more of you, welcome to Flyertalk and welcome to the BA board in particular.
If you want an easy journey you will be wanting London to HKG to SYX. Cheapest in business will involve something like AMS-LHR-HKG and a separate ticket to Hainan. Most tier points would involve AMM plus somewhere in India to maximise the 2,000 mile breaks; and Qatar is the more practical half way house between the two. Maybe spend a while with ITA Matrix to see what is possible, but if you are not familiar with the intricacies of fare buckets a travel agent may be a good option for this.
