One thing I was surprised to see is in the Int'l CoC, if the next flight to your destination only has space in First, delta "will" put you there, or upgrade others to free up space in coach. Good to know for future reference when they say next flight is all booked. I just assumed they wouldn't do something like that. Rule 80.
I wouldn't really get your hopes up based on this. In the event of delays and cancellations requiring them to shift people to other flights with no coach space, they will almost always bump up people with status first to make room in coach. The chances of them putting someone without status directly in business is very remote.
