But was the underlying ticket a LHR-HKG-LHR round-trip? If so, then AIUI all the TFC on the ticket are repriced on reissue even if the only change to the booking is to the LHR-HKG sector. So you could still be affected by exchange rate movements.
If it was a LHR-HKG one-way ticket, then it may just be that one of the items had increased by £3 since the original ticket issue date. At the moment, ITA says that the TFC on a one-way LHR-HKG ticket are:-

If you compare that to the breakdown on your original e-ticket receipt, that might show you what has increased.
