Using EK miles you qualify for the complimentary hotel if the shortest connection is over a certain amount of time (6 hours?). However, I believe using partner miles, which is the OP's case, you are not entitled to the stopover hotel. And, to be honest, for a 7 hour connection I would just stay in the F lounge even if I was entitled to a stopover hotel.
