You can certainly use your mobile to go through security but still print the boarding pass for the HOOU... I have had this issue before, although it was the opposite (mobile app would not show precheck but printed passes did). There is also no problem with using one boarding pass to go through security and a different one to board the plane; as long as they are both valid/copies, you should be fine.

Am I missing the issue here?
