Is this normal? Booked an AA/JL award and wasn't charged taxes
Newbie question here, first time redeeming on AA since I switched over from UA.
Yesterday I booked DEN-ORD-NRT in F on AA and JL and I was only charged US taxes (and the $25 phone fee). Shouldn't I have been charged ~$80 or so in Japanese taxes?
The reservation has been ticketed, I got that email a few hours ago.
