1) if you call they can process this over the phone
2) Yes barring any recalculation of any fees paid in foreign currency (any booking changes trigger a reprice in this scenario which typically amounts to a pound or 2 difference either way. You may need to pay fees depending upon your BA Status, I have been Gold for a while but seem to recall that non-Golds may need to pay a £25 fee for cancellations or changes?
3) as I read your situation it should cost an extra 25k Avios (a OW in J would be 50k so you need an extra 25k to move to F).
