I love the fact it is only 30,000 miles roundtrip from Juneau to the Caribbean! I've seen ample availability to St. Maarten, Panama, Belize, and even Punta Cana.

I actually ended up coughing up a few more miles for First Class to Belize at the end of the month, and was able to do 15,000 miles on AA/AS to fly Belize - Miami, stopover for a few days, then fly Miami back to Juneau.

I pray that Alaska doesn't make many changes to MP... and our MVP Gold bennies... the ability to book this trip alone had made me no longer question booking a few Delta flights this summer (Delta starts up here on May 29th). (yes, I know AS/DL are still partners.. but I'd rather keep supporting AS)
