Here's what mystifies me ... I see it only with My Elite but maybe someone will tell me that it happens for other rates, too:
Hotel A: I book for three nights at $200/night. Later I discover that only third night is showing $200 -- the other two nights are at $150 (if booked separately). I call Hyatt, point this out, and they rebook the same reservation for $500 total (rather than the original $600).
Hotel B: Two nights are priced at $150 per. I take them. Later, I look at them separately and see that they are $150 for the first night and $225 for the second night, if booked separately. I don't call Hyatt.
I have checked and double-checked and each time, together and separately, I was looking at My Elite rates.
Yes that type of thing happens at some hotels for the Hyatt Daily Rate and every other rate as well. I always check each night separately and if different rates are showing up, also check different combinations. Aggravating, but then satisfying if I can find a combination that is considerably lower than the straight booking.
Even when checking for an award stay on pts, sometimes 2 nights are available but 1 night is not.
