When people travel with with a DSLR and a couple of lenses, a UWA, a standard zoom and maybe a fast 50, how are you carrying it? Canon EOS gear is just monstrous. Before I go to a Fuji Pro 1 or a Sony A7 series, I just wanted to see if anyone had any ingenious ways to carry gear.
1. A few years ago, for the reason of the size and weight (for travel), I decided not to switch to Nikon-D700 (or D800 when it came out) from my Pentax DSLR. I am currently on K5-iis and very happy with it. The new K-3 is reportedly even better.
2. You may consider Vanguard Up-rise 33: it is close by the looks to TUMI.
In my case it fits: 13" laptop (will probably fit 14", but not 17"), K5-iis with 10-17/4 on it, plus 50-135/2.8, 50/1.4, 77/1.8, 31/1.8 or 35/2, and a strobe.

It *almost* fits the limits of the "personal item".
