Luggage Handling Issues - AC issue or airport issue - at SAN?
Yesterday, I arrived in SAN on AC 777 from YYZ.
it arrived more or less on time.
The issue was the luggage.
The rentral monitor screen (for all arriving flights) did not list the carousel that the luggage would be coming on, as late as 20 min after flight arrival.
The monitor on the screen above the carousel in question did not display the flight, even after the luggage had arrived.
So, I had to look at a few carousels to find the luggage.
Not helping matters - nobody was at the AC luggage help desk, to ask the question as to which carousel the luggage would be arriving?
