I was indeed thinking of back to back long hauls as I wrote that entry as I have only arrived at T5C that way.

At the T5C starbucks, using my boarding pass and as GCH, I received a 30 GBP allowance, and my wife as my guest a further 15 GBP. They also threw in a couple of bottle of soft drinks for the kids, telling me that they are strict on the allowance with booze, less so on others.....
