Another trick when websites etc insist on a US address is to see if there is a US state acronym that is similar to your Australian state. I've had amex transactions work with my Australian address and VA rather than VIC!
Amex does not check the name or address with online transactions, at least in the UK. QCash appears to only require entering Australia and the postcode.
