Just back from a BA Holidays booking in the Caribbean.
Outbound on 17 Jan.
10,000 Bonus Avios posted on 21 Jan.
Flew home 27 Jan.

But that was a special deal from last May, 10k per booking. YMMV, but I was pleased to see the system worked (unlike my Amex 2-4-1 from 8 Dec, for which I'm still waiting!)
