Share your frustration. I logged into a booking this morning for a December 2014 flight to find my seats have been changed. I have no objections to the change (think it may be a bigger aircraft) but do object to the fact that there was no communication and indeed no prompt even within "my bookings" to tell me about the change. It was only when I actually opened the specific booking for another purpose that I saw the change highlighted in red.
The most annoying part though was that my two aisle and window seats (WT+) had been substituted for 2 aisle seats at opposite ends of a row with 2 empty seats between us. As the remainder of the WT+ cabin was empty (apart from the bassinet seats) there was absolutely no logic to this at all. So to be honest I'm a bit p**d off with BA today.
