Thanks for the replies in this thread. BNE will be the first Australian port of entry on my itinerary and I was about to ask where to find an ATM machine.

Here is what it says on the BNE website:

Q. Where are the automatic teller machines (ATMs) located?
A. Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) are located on all levels of the International and Domestic Terminals.
