I'm really getting tired of these 'loyalty' programs. I'm looking to do a trip to SoCal and fly into SAN and out SNA 8 days. I tried to do one way with a minivan and use points and it says I don't have enough. Kind of odd.

I take it down to even one day, and still "Not enough points". Yeah, right. Why don't they just say that you can't take a minivan one way on points? $1200 for the week+1 rental.

Anyone know a way around it? I'm PC level.
