Responding to the original poster, I recommend against using the uPromise portal. I got a uPromise MC in my last AoR naively thinking I could double- and triple-stack it.

So far in my experience you only get the 5% from using the card if you go thru the uPromise portal. So you can't go thru the UR portal, for instance, to get UR points and still get 5% for using the uPromise MC.

I was willing to let that go, but the uPromise portal is frustratingly slow in crediting cash back in my experience over the last year. Seems like it takes them 2-3 months after the transaction and/or statement closing date to release cash to my account. That, combined with the fact that the uPromise portal doesn't really offer any special deals, is leading me to seldom use it, even though I now find myself in possession of a uPromise MC.
